Ronnie and Patty Thornton, Thornton Pottery
Thornton Pottery is family-owned by native Tennesseans, Ronnie and Patty Thornton. They make all of their unique, nature-inspired pieces of pottery at their home-studio in Burns, Tennessee. They've been creating one-of-a-kind pottery since the year 2004, when Patsy took a pottery class as a hobby.
Patty's interest grew and caught the attention of her husband. Now, they both create coffee mugs, vases, bowls, spoon rests and the like, as well as making unique artistic and decorative pieces shaped like large leaves and plaques imprinted with leaves and flowers from trees and plants that they use to make the artwork. All of their pieces are safe for food. They are safe for use in the microwave oven, conventional oven, and dishwasher.
