Tane Miller - Fine Art
Tane Miller is an aspiring artist who uses realism and vibrant color to portray the splendor of nature in landscapes and the simplicity of life in figures from her work around the world.
For 22 years Miller has served in missions and the music ministry as a Christian recording artist traveling full-time in 17 countries including much of Europe, the British Isles, Africa, the Caribbean, Mexico and the Arctic of Canada. Miller is continually inspired by the beautiful people, cultures and landscapes that she strives to capture in photos and sketches for her studio paintings.
Growing up in West Texas, Miller showed an unusual talent for drawing as a young child, where her focus was sketching trees and plants. Many of her weekends growing up were spent camping with family in the national parks of New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado. Miller has always been inspired by the mountains, sunsets and the wide open spaces of the desert.
Miller studied classical voice and opera in college, but never lost her love for art. Though she is primarily self-taught, she has taken occasional art courses. Miller currently resides in Middle Tennessee near Nashville. She is a member of the Arts Council of Williamson County.
